My Great Parents in The Great Here After

The Greatest source of strength in life was and always will be my Dad, from the last conversation we ever had to all the messes he went thru with me, he was the best thing in my life. He called me on the phone a couple of days before his stroke, and said if you want to talk to or see me in any place between now and the great here after .,., that I should do it now. My truck was broke down and I had no license .,., but it fired right up and away I went. When I got to the house I grew up in and was greeted by him and my Mother he explained that he didn't wish to alarm me, but the doctors were killing him, and he wouldn't be around much longer. The three us us had a nice long visit and they assured me that everything would be fine, and I drove home. He had a stoke and went into a comma a couple of days later, and passed on in a few weeks, God rest his soul. The fact that he thought enough of me to call me has always been a strengthening memory for me, he was a strong man, and I must be also. I love him and my dear Mother in heaven at his side. Thanks 2 both of you for everything and a belief in our Heavenly Father, and the great here after. My father taught me to believe in God as the one and only creator of the universe who so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever beleiveth in him shall not perish but have everlasting life. When we gave thanks at the dinner table he would say .,., thank you our heavenly Father for this meal, and all your many blessings, please bless this food to the nourishment of our bodies, that we may be more worthy to receive thy gifts, in the name of your son The Lord Jesus we ask it Amen. or let some one else say thanks in their own way. The first prayer I learned my Mother taught me to say before going to sleep at about age 4 was "Now I lay me down to sleep, I pray the lord my soul to keep, and if I die before I wake, I pray the Lord my soul to take" .,., Thanks Mom! I Love You, and your Handsome Husband, Jack Young pictured below.
